In Memory of Frank Bodman, 2nd Wilt. Regiment. For many years a Scholar and Teacher in this Sunday School, who gave his life for his Country June 1915, Aged 23 Years. "At home with the Lord."

Also in Memory of Jacob Walter Bodman, who was drowned on H.M.S. Black Prince in the Jutland battle, May 31st 1916, aged 27 years. Both were the beloved sons of Edward and Mercy Louisa Bodman, of this parish Nearer my God to thee.

These memorials were placed here following the closure of the Methodist Chapel in 1989
