Brass plaque on wall in St Mary the Virgin Church

In remembrance of Muriel beloved wife of Capt. Cathcart Romer Wason, C.M.G.,R.N. and elder daughter of Allen D. Graham of Cossington and Stawell. Born 10th Jany. 1880 she died 30th Nov.1916 worn out by her exertions nursing the wounded in France during the Great War and now lies sleeping in the Churchyard here. Out of the stress of doing into the peace of done
