In loving memory of 2nd Lieutenant, Victor Arthur C. Leche of the Devons, attached to the 2st Somerset L.I. who fell at Beaumont Hamel in France on July 1st 1916, leading his men in the great assult on the German lines. Aet 20 "Pro patria mori."
