To the Glory of God and in loving memory of Stanford James Fisk. rifleman and lewis gunner 1/8th Battn. Hampshire Regt. (I.W.Rifles Princess Beatrice's) only son of Robert and Jessie Fisk, of this parish. He served in Gallipoli, Egypt and Palestine, and fell before Gaza Novr. 2nd 1917, aged 24 years. "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
