Brass plaque.
To the Glory of God and in memory of those who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1919. The reredos was given to the church by relatives and friends and this screen erected to bear the names of their comrades by Bembridge ex service men.

In loving memory of John William Towers-Clarke Lieut. 2nd Battn. Royal Scots Fusiliers killed in action at Montauabn, Somme, France, 1st July 1916, aged 20, and of Hugh Duppa Collins Lieut. Commr. Royal Navy, killed in action in H.M.S. Monmouth off Chili, Pacific Ocean, 1st Nov. 1914 aged 30.

To the Glory of God and in memory of Archibald Campbell Denison only son ofJoseph Basil and Annie Louisa Denison of Balure Bembridge. Captain 2nd Battn. Royal highlanders The Blackwatch. Killed at the battle of Loos in Flanders and mentioned in despatches for gallant and distinguished conduct in the field. Born Jan.2nd 1890. Died Sept.25th 1915. He "fought the good fight."

In loving memory of Norman Charles Henry Macdonald Moreton only son of Lieut-Col Macdonald Moreton late Coldstream Guards of Hill Grove & Anna his wife Born 18 July 1888 killed in action 13 Octbr. 1915 Buried at Cappy in France. He served in India & during the European War 1914-15 as Lieut in the 3rd Battalion King's Royal Rifles Corps appointed Temp. Capt. for services in the field. Mentioned in Despatches & awarded the Military Cross for Gallantry during the 2nd Battle of Ypres. "He tried to do his Duty."

In loving memory of Frank Clement Goodall M.I.N.A. who fell asleep November 13th 1916, aged 60 years R.I.P. and in proud and loving memory of his two sons Frank Basil Goodall. Lieut., 3rd Border Regiment who fell in action at Sulva Bay Gallipoli. Aug.21.1915, aged 24. Edwawrd Orme Clement Goodall. Lieut., Royal Field Artillery, who gave his life at Passchendaele, Flanders, Nov.9 1917, aged 23. "They have fought the good fight."
In loving memory of a darling husband Alfred Weaver. died November 9th 1931. Aged 61 years. Also of Ronald Alfred, his son killed in action Gallipoli September 4th 1915, aged 19 years. "At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, I will remember them." Also of hos wife Alice Weaver, died August 19th 1933 aged 60 years. "Rest in peace."
