Stone on wall in St Peter & St Paul's Church in porch.

The bells of this church were re-hung in
1949 and two bells were added in memory of
Harold Francis Theophilus Davies
R.N.V.R. of hawkley Hurst who fell in the
Battle of the Atlantic 9th September 1941.

H.M. Corvette Candytuft in the North Atlantic
September 9th 1941 aged 29 years
