To the Loved Memory of
Charles Alexander Macrae,
Lieut. Army Service Corps,
Frank Laing Macrae,
2nd Lieut. 8th Seaforth Highlanders,
who fell leading his men at the Battle of Loos on 25th Sept. 1915.
Only sons of Charles Colin and Cecilia Macrae
of Meonstoke House.
They both enlisted in the Public Schools Battalion on the outbreak
of the War and have given their lives for their Country.
God have them in His Holy love and keeping.
