John Humphrey Tindal. B.A.Camb.
Gunner R.G.A. died of fever at
Morocoro East Africa, whilst on active service.
Son of J.T. Tindal of Tatiara, Glen Innes, N.S.W.
and grandson of C.G. Tindal of this Parish.
Born 26th May 1889. Died 17th February 1917.
Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.

In memory of
Charles Henry Tindal. M.C.
Son of C.F. Tindal of Ramornie New South
Wales and grandson of the late C.G. Tindall of
this Parish. Born 26th September 1887. Died 3rd May 1926
of shell shock contracted in the war.
A good citizen and a brave soldier.

In memory of
Archibald Arthur Tindal.
2nd Lieut. R.F.A. of Gunyan, Queensland,
killed in action near Guillemont France,
son fo C.F. Tindal of Ramornie, N.S.W.
and grandson of C.G. Tindal of this Parish
born August 30th 1888, killed Sept. 8th 1916.
He left all to fight for the right.

Sacred to the memory of
Lovis Nicolas Lindsay Tindal. M.C.
Capt. 2nd Batt. Devonshire Regt.
who, born April 16th 1895 at Ramornie
Clarence River, N.S.W. gave his life
with his fellow officers and men
in unquestioning sacrifice to the sacred
cause, at Bois des Buttes, on May 27th 1918.
"Faith is the evidence of things not seen."

In proud and loving memory of Colonel Neville Manders, R.A.M.C. killed at Anzac Cove
August 7th 1915. Also of Will. Pyt Bennett, Major R.G.A. fell in the Battle of the
Somme. July 15th 1916. "Faithful unto death."
