Osmond Mowatt.
Lieutenant 10th Royal Hussars
who died at Duisans causality clearing station April 22nd 1917
of wounds recieved in the cavalry charge near Monchy Le
Preux Arras on April 11th buried in Duisans Military Cemetery
he recieved the 1914 star and bar

Born May 24th 1880 he was the younger and surviving child of
James and Fanny Louisa Mowatt of Kingswood Firs
while yet an undergraduate at Gonville and Caius College Cambridge
he volunteered for the South African War and as Lieutenant
Imperial Yeomanry saw much service and was twice wounded.
He recieved the Queen's Medal 3 clasps the King's Medal 2 clasps
and retired with the rank of Hon. Lieutenantin the army etc. etc.
Returning to Cambridge he graduated B.A. with Science Honours 1904 M.A. 1907.
