On soldiers papers son of Alice Brymer of 149 Lower Derby Road, Stamshaw, Portsmouth, later in papers down as no father or mother (Father died 1904 & mother 1911). In 1911 (mother a widow), family living at 33 Regents Street, Mile End, Landport, Portsmouth. Born: Portsmouth. Enlisted: Gosport, Hants.
