                           Son of Sir Harry Vesey Brooke, K.B.E., and Lady Patricia Brooke, of Fairley, Countesswells, Aberdeen.
                           Served in British East Africa (wounded) and France (where he was mortally wounded).
                           Brother of James Anson Otho & Patrick Harry who also died.
