Discharged 1st October 1917 due to wounds received in action (rifle fire left side of chest 4th October 1916 at High Wood France). Then living C/O Mrs Sidwell, Stock Cottage, Connaught Road, Fleet, later as above. Son of Luenda Saunders (formerly Barnard), of 101 Station Villas, Great Marlow, Bucks, and the late Arthur Henry Barnard (died 1912). In 1911 family living at Newbury Street, Whitchurch, Hants.
