Plaque 1.

To the Glory of God and in loving memory of John Frederick Sprake, Queen's Own Dorset Yeomanry eldest son of Thomas Bradford & Rosa Helen Sprake of Knowle Hill, Woodlands.

Plaque 2.

Killed in action in the Dardanelles Aug. 21st 1915. This Memorial is dedicated by his family "Greater love hath no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends"
