Bronze plaque on wall in Lady St Mary's church.

To the Glory of God and in fond memory of Kilcoursie S. Courtenay (Lieut) the Dorsetshire Regt, only son of Kilcoursie J. and M. Courtenay, he fell in action at Damery (Somme) Aug. 11th 1918 aged 25. His body was miracously found by his mother on the battle field 14 months later, and buried at Bouchoir (Somme). So kindly brave and loved: For his country's sake to death he went, content, and ever missed.
