In loving memory of "Corporal" Percy Reginald Gale, "Queen's Own" Dorset Yeomanry, who was kill in action at Gallipoli August 22nd 1915, aged 23 years. Interred near "Chocolate Hill", Gallipoli.

In loving memory of William Frederick Temple Sheridan Captain 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade, son of Algernon Brinsley Sheridan and Mary Lothrop Sheridan, of Frampton Court, born 5th January 1879, killed leading his men at the Battle of Loos 25th September 1915. Faithful unto death "Battlefields are strange in unexpectedness, and histories change because the proper hour finds the man. I cannot see the vastness of the plan beyond horizon. But I shall be there to do my humble or my splendid share."
