Erected by two parishioners in loving
and grateful memory of their fellow worshippers
who fell in the Great War 1914-18
who through the gate of death have entered into life.

South Canonry Salisbury late Bridport Rectory 1895 - 1916,

who was killed in action in France

This tablet is erected by the officers, N.C.O.'s and men of his
company, as a token of their affection and respect.
He died, as he had lived, for others.
